Sleeping tips 101

For some people, it’s easy to fall asleep at night, but for most it’s hard to shut your eyes and sleep.

I am here to help you with some sleeping tips that you can use to have a peaceful night slumber.

1. Make some hot  tea and add some honey or lemon into it. I don’t know why, but this helps me get calmed down after a long day  and helps me rest at night.

2. I’m not a big medicine person, but melatonin helped me a ton when I was younger. It’s a small little pill and it’s chewable so you don’t have to worry about it getting stuck in your throat like most pills do.

3. Count sheep. I know that people always say this as a joke when you tell them that you can’t sleep, but it really does work. Your eyes get tired and soon enough you are out like a light bulb.

4. Read a book. Sometimes reading something that gets you out of reality helps you unwind and settle down from the stress of the world if that is what’s  keeping you up at night.

5. Put on some calming music and let it soothe your brain. This will help you unwind from the long day and it will help you sleep peacefully through the night.
