The warm sunshine radiates down on you. The fresh summer air hovers under your nose, and the sound of the ice cream truck is followed by thrilled, laughing children.
If you didn’t have winter depression before, you do now.
After months and months of winter there are three weeks of winter to go. At least we are no longer under a Level 3 snow emergency.
I love the people in my house, but those long no-school snow days have taught me that there is such a thing as a little too much time together. There was a moment when I thought my life would turn into The Shinning as my father grew more and more agitated.
There’s not much we can do about this seasonal depression but wait. Just remember to wear those wool socks your grandma got you for Christmas, keep your hoods up, tie your scarfs tight, and it will be over before you know.
