Juggling responsibilities

Going to school, playing sports, and having a part time job can be one of the most stressful things. Some people aren’t able to maintain both at the same time. Luckily for me, I’ve had a job since I was 13.

My grandparents owned a sports bar and restaurant called Cheers Sports Eatery. They had the best pizza that I’ve ever tasted. The restaurant was considered a hidden gem.

I was hired at 13 as a dishwasher and eventually I transitioned into making pizzas. When I was 16 my grandparents retired and sold the restaurant. Unfortunately, I decided to leave after they sold it for a change of scenery.

When I was 17 I applied at Chick-Fil-A and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I currently work there and I love my job. If you ever think that you don’t have time for school, sports, and a job, just remember I’ve been doing the same thing since I was 13.
